
I asked my dad if there was any way he could get us tickets to a U of A
basketball game while we were in town. Since it was a break for the
University, a few of the normally impossible to find tickets were available (the games have been sold out continuously since 1987). This was the first time
I had been inside McKale Center, the basketball arena where I worked for
three years, since the Wildcats won the national championship in 1997. This
picture, of poor quality due to bad lighting, shows the banner for that
triumph.

This game also happened to be when Coach Olson received his official jacket
marking his induction into the Basketball Hall of Fame. Pretty cool.

In the airport on the way back to New York, I snapped this shot without Rach
realizing what I was doing. I just really like the compositional aspects with the slightly off vertical lines and the expression on her face.
