In November of 2002, Jeremy and Rachel ventured down to Arizona to be with Jeremy's parents for Thanksgiving, the major annual holiday in the Schiffer household.
The trip started at Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport, where a Daewoo car was rented, and the protagonists set off for the Schiffer family cabin in Pinetop, Arizona. Sadly, as of early 2004, the cabin is no longer property of the Schiffers, and this trip was actually Jeremy's last stay there; he had previously spent three summers living and working in Pinetop and made several other smaller trips between 1994 and 2002.
